Vagner Godói is a professor, researcher and graphic designer.

Since 2011, he has been a professor of the Graphic Design course at Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in São Paulo.

He has a degree in Graphic Design from Unesp (2001), where he received a Scientific Initiation scholarship from Fapesp.

He received a Doctorate from the program Interunits in Aesthetics and History of Art at the University of São Paulo – PGEHA/USP (2018), with a thesis about artistic research and artist’s theory.

He has a master’s degree from the same program (2008), with a dissertation about the ideas of exhibition and functioning in the threshold between technological and contemporary art.

Since 2001, he has worked as an independent graphic designer, as well as for the F/NAZCA S&S advertising agency (2005-2008), at Tesla (2009-2011) and at the Urbana (2002-2004).

He worked for clients such as Claro, Vivo, Skol, Brahma, Itaú, Vivo, Mercedes-Benz, Sulamérica, Magazine Luiza, Samello, among others.

He has received the following awards for his work: the Gold Lion at Cannes for the Cyber category, Advertising Winner at the London Festival, a gold award from El Ojo de Iberoamerica, among others.
